My wife Emily and I (Zach) founded Niese Family Medicine in July 2021 with a goal of increasing access to quality, affordable care to patients in the area. Over the years we have seen many social, physical and economic factors preventing our friends, family and neighbors from reaching the care they need. I can’t tell you how many times friends or family members have come to me over the last few years with illnesses or ailments that require prescription medications, lab work, imaging or an in-office procedure, only for me to have to refer them back to their family physician or nearest emergency room to be treated. Just the other day I had a friend tell me that he spent $1400 and 3 hours at the emergency room to get 3 stitches put in his hand-something I could have done myself for a fraction of that price.
Ultimately, this is why we created Niese Family Medicine. I understand as much as anyone the frustration with our current overpriced and inconvenient healthcare system and would like to be able to help people out as much as I can. Feel free to call me at any time, we can set up an office visit or virtual health appointment, depending on your needs.

I received a bachelor's of science from Ohio Northern University and two masters degrees from Case Western Reserve University to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Over the last several years I have gained vast experience working in different urgent care, family medicine and occupational health settings.
Emily obtained her bachelors in nursing through Toledo University and has spent the last few years working on a cardiac unit and with case management in a hospital setting.
